SHARING THE GOSPEL

            What is the Gospel?

People often refer to the gospel as the “Good News.” But what

exactly is the Good News?

The Apostle Paul summed up the gospel when he wrote,” It is

this Good News that saves you if you firmly believe it …

Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried,

and he was raised from the dead on the third day, as the Scriptures said.”

(1 Corinthians 15:2-4 NLT)

To help you know what the gospel is and how to share it, here are

some relevant reminders on the gospel.

1.    We all stand as sinners before a holy God (see Romans 5:6-8)
            2.    Jesus Christ is the only way to God (see John 14:6)
            3.    The cornerstone of the gospel is Christ's death and resurrection

 (see 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

Now that you know what the gospel is, here are four points for

sharing it with others:
                        1.    Realize that you are a sinner and ask God for forgiveness (see 1 John 1:8-9)

2.    Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you (see Romans 5:8)

3.    Repent of your sin (see Acts 3:19)

4.    Receive Jesus into your life (see Revelation 3:20)

So the next time someone asks, "What's so good about the Gospel?", you can tell
the news and why it is good.
