Date From Prayer Request
04-27-09 Mike McGee Please join me in lifting up the Nash family in your prayers. Tennessee FCA MX team member Jacob Nash tragically was killed yesterday in an MX accident at Thunder Valley MX in Livingston Tennessee. Sunday at 12:30 pm Jacob was in an accident while racing at his home town track of Thunder Valley Raceway in Livingston. During his 2nd moto he hit the jump just after the finish line and something made his bike endo (front end of the bike dives down and back the end starts coming over) and he crashed, hitting the ground very hard. No-one knows for sure what happened but he was instantly unconscious. When the paramedics got to him he was not breathing and was immediately taken into the ambulance and given CPR, his breathing regained. He was transported to a Medi-vac helicopter and was flown to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. Jacob did not survive the trip. There must have been 15 families that drove to the hospital this afternoon to see Jacob and to be with Jeremy and his Father Terry. Everyone was in disbelief, shocked and we all drove back to Terry’s house to be with them. Please lift up your prayers for the Nash family. We have lost a son, brother, grandson, cousin, and true friend and are all deeply saddened.
01-21-09 Dawn Jeremy Street is a member of this motocross team. On Saturday, January 17,2009, he flipped off of his bike and broke his neck (C2-C5). At this writing he is in Vanderbilt Hospital paralyzed from his chest down. He has no insurance. We are praying for healing and God's will and power over Jeremy. He is strong physically until this point in time. His faith in God is powerful and he is surrounded by believing friends and family. Please keep Jeremy in your prayers. There is a link where you can donate to his care and leave prayers and comments for Jeremy and his family at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jeremystreet
Thank you and God bless you all. Dawn Livingston
11-09-08 Mitch Alden Pray for quick healing. I have had achilles surgery a month ago. Ruptured racing of course. I am so glad to find this site. I have been praying to start a ministry in the Portland/SW Washington area. Washougal is our local track. Oregon Old Timers is our local adult club. So pray for me and my mission/ministry goals for Christ. There are a lot of christians and non-christians who need the word at local races. Mitch

06-22-08 David Weatherly Trevar Ward, a ten year-old from North Carolina had a bad crash yesterday at the Regional Qualifier in Virginia. In the crash he ruptured his spleen, but the real problem come from the fact that he is a hemopheliac. Trevar was air lifted to Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. He's in critical condition. Please pray for this great kid.
05-06-08 Jim Feagans Please pray for Kyle Corman and his family, He was hurt at Oak Hills Texas almost two months ago and he is having a rough recovery. Kyle has had to go back for additional surgery to repair his arm from complications after the first operation wasn't entirely successful. His dad tells me that his spirits are high and he is looking forward to still being able to Instruct at the Illinois Motocross camp this summer.
04-09-08 Kentuckiana FCA Our prayers go out to Cleveland and Debbie Howard and their family and friends on the death of their son, Nick Howard. Nick was saved at an FCA MX summer camp and went from camper to instructor in the following years. Nick has been a part of the Kentuckiana Team and will be greatly missed. Nick was in an auto accident tonight, along with Jacob Gross, Zach Liter, and Nick Long. Please also pray for these three and the healing of their injuries.
01-10-08 Ann Purdome Please give thanks to God for allowing Caleb Heether to remain with us after his bike crash while practicing at our local track. He was unconscious for at least 45 min, had a couple siezures, and quit breathing for a short time before the helicoper got to him. He was life flighted to the University Hospital & on a ventilator for a short time. Prayers and prayer chains involving hundreds of people we don't even know began at the scene and immediately as friends and family got the news. Caleb came home yesterday. CT showed no broken bones, no signs of bleeding on the brain. He and I have these wrist bands that we have had for a least 2 years that signify "God is with us." He had just started wearing his again a few days before the accident. In the ICU it was still on his wrist. Truly God is with us. We need to realize this every day and give thanks. Please join me in giving thanks to Him for all he does in our lives and all the things He does that we don't know about. My prayers are with those listed here on this site and all those who aren't. Father in Heaven, thru your son Jesus's name I pray. Please accept our thanks for the hope we have thru Jesus and please help us live lives that are pleasing to you. Amen
